Spore

In the past few days, I've been getting back (if you can really get BACK into something that's less than two months old) into playing Spore.  I'm currently attempting to beat the space stage, which is the last stage of the game.  If you're a gamer with little else to do, you have to check it out.  It was made by Wil Wright, the creator of the Sims, a simulator of life.  Spore is a simulator of the process of evolution, from a single-celled organism, to life on land as a creature, to development of culture as a tribe, to industrial growth as a city, to space exploration.

Anyway, check out Spore, so that you can understand why I'm often sitting with my face glued to my laptop screen.

It's been a pretty uneventful day, as usual...Math, doctor's appointment for this stupid pinkeye (which is going away now, yay!), Spore, shower, lunch, choir, Wiki class, and now I'm sitting in the Union on my laptop.  I'm currently waiting for the beginning of a candlelight vigil for Haroon Khan, a UWM student who was murdered two weeks ago while selling his car.  R.I.P. Haroon.

I'm also really hungry, and now have no choice but to wait until I get back to the dorm to eat some sort of crappy microwaveable junk.  Yum!
